ABOUT | House Provisions

Established in 2012 by Reverend Wanda Jackson, Founder and Executive Director, House Provisions Family Shelter and Transition Center Inc. provides resource development and transition support to low-income families and individuals, including those experiencing homelessness, throughout the City of Aiken, Aiken County, and the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA).

Our services include general and grief support, life skills development, workforce training, and entrepreneurship guidance for individuals interested in establishing cleaning or home health care businesses. We also offer community meals and clothing distributions at no cost.

Through partnerships with other organizations and agencies, House Provisions connects those we serve with additional resources to address immediate needs and support progress toward stability, independence, and long-term well-being.

Through skills development, training, essential resources, and individualized support, we help participants gain the knowledge, confidence, and practical tools needed to overcome barriers and work toward self-sufficiency.
